Why We Began Breeding: Our Passion for Feline Companionship and Health
Becoming Maine Coon breeders was a natural step for us after falling head over heels in love with this majestic breed of cats. It all began with our first Maine Coon, Ivy, whom we imported from Russia. We were instantly captivated by her striking appearance, playful and affectionate nature, and gentle disposition. From that moment on, we knew that we wanted to share the joy of owning a Maine Coon with others, and what better way to do that than by breeding them ourselves?
We started small, immersing ourselves in everything Maine Coon-related. We took online courses, such as Pawpeds, and connected with other breeders who shared our passion. It was a meticulous process to select the right breeders and the perfect Maine Coons to breed. Now, we’re incredibly proud to have built a loving family of breeding cats, including Ivy, Indi, Amara, and Meave, who came all the way from Poland. Let’s not forget our majestic king, Chaos. Growing up, our love for cats was undeniable, and it has only intensified over the years. However, our affinity for animals extends beyond felines; we genuinely appreciate all creatures, including snakes which we grew up with as children.
Our cats are treated as members of the family, and we have worked hard to create a comfortable and loving environment for them to thrive in. We believe that breeding cats is a significant responsibility, and we take great care in ensuring that our cats are in the best possible health and condition before they have kittens. Seeing our previous kittens find loving homes all across the UK brings us so much joy. Witnessing the happiness that these beautiful souls bring to their new families is truly a heartwarming experience. For us, raising Maine Coons is not just a hobby, it is a deep-seated passion, and we feel incredibly fortunate to be able to pursue it every day.
